Jyothi is one way of worshipping the God inside us. While performing meditation, the Jyothi (round-like structure) can be seen on the forehead. This can be achieved in the meditation stage. The mantra should be chanted continuously to see the Jyothi inside the human body so that the mantra creates a good bond between the god and the soul. Even in meditation, we can chant any mantra specifically to see the Jyothi. The grace of Lord Shiva and Lord Parvati is more important.
In Tiruvannamalai, the Jyothi is lit at the top of the mountain. They light the fire in the large, cylindrical copper with ghee. Only in Tiruvannamalai during Karthigai (November) do people perform this activity. This represents that in the yoga state, the atmas should find the Jyothi on the forehead while meditating. The Jyothi here represents God. This is the final stage of the birth. God gives grace to the mature atmas who see Jyothi in the forehead. Great saints like Manikavasagar and Ramana Maharshi mentioned seeing the Jyothi on the forehead. All must be able to see Jyothi on the forehead by doing continuous yoga.
To see Jyothi, one has to release anavam, karma, and mayai. Then only God comes as a Jyothi to bless the soul.

Question and Answer 1.
How can we see the Jothi inside?
- The Jyothi can be seen inside our human body itself. Through meditation, one can achieve this stage.
- All the Siddhars have attained this stage and are in the Mukthi stage.
- This is possible with the Kundalini meditation and the chakra meditation.
- If these two are done perfectly, one attains good maturity in spirituality.
- With the grace of Lord Shiva, only one can go to this stage.
- The Jyoti is considered to be the Lord Shiva. The Lord Shiva represents himself in the form of Jyoti. He comes as a separate image for the soul, also mentioned in the Thiruvasagam by Lord Shiva.
- This is possible only in the yoga and meditation stage and with the grace of Lord Shiva.
- The great festivals like Bharani Deepam in Tiruvannamalai and MagaraJyothi in Sabarimalai indicate this particular information.
- The main thing of the soul is to find the Jyothi inside the body. The Lord Shiva gives blessings and grace to the soul.
- Hence, one must do continuous penance for this stage. Ie. We have to think of God always and chant the mantra or hear the mantra. We have to spend more time in the temple.
Thus, one should do continuous meditation for a longer period. The individual image displayed by the god Lord Shiva is called Jyothi. The Siddhars and Saints had achieved this. They had a very long penance to attain this stage and stood on devotion (Bhakti). Last but not least, devotion is the enjoyable thing that the soul needs to manage to mature spiritually. Hence, the Mounam stage is a powerful tool/weapon that can bring good energy. Therefore, practice makes perfect.
